Gulf Investment Horizons symposium at A'Duqm
MUSCAT - The Symposium on "Gulf Investment Horizons at A'Duqm" will start on Tuesday at Grand Hyatt Muscat Hotel. The Symposium is organized by the A'Duqm Special Economic Zone Authority (SEZAD) and continues for two days.
Darwish bin Ismaiel al-Balushi, Minister Responsible for Financial Affairs will patronize over the opening ceremony.
It is expected that a number of officials from the public and private sectors will participate in the Symposium, together with the presence of (300) senior officials and investors, executives, businessmen and guests from the Gulf Cooperation Council and the Sultanate.
The Symposium will discuss a number of important topics to investors in petrochemical and mining industries, and project financing. The Symposium will also include a session on investment in tourism and fishing industries, real estate and the first day will conclude with a session dedicated to investing in the transport and logistics sector.
On the sidelines of the Symposium, a number of agreements for different projects will be signed in Muscat and A'Duqm. A field visit will be organized for participants of the Symposium, to A'Duqm Special Economic Zone to inform investors on investment opportunities available now and in the future and to visit the existing projects in the zone.
