UAE leader orders release of 103 Egyptian prisoners

ABU DHABI – UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has ordered the release of 103 Egyptian prisoners, who were sentenced in different cases.
Sheikh Khalifa also pledged to settle their financial obligations as a result of enforcing those sentences.
The pardon underlines the UAE leader's keenness to offer the released prisoners the opportunity to start a new life and alleviate suffering of their families.
Tamer Mansour, Egyptian Ambassador to UAE, hailed Sheikh Khalifa’s initiative which “confirms his keenness on the historic relations between Egypt and the UAE and represents Egypt's high position in the hearts and minds of the fraternal people of the UAE."
